A foreigner who wants to work in Singapore needs a work pass, which the employer applies for with MOM. Professionals usually need an Employment Pass assessed under COMPASS; entrepreneurs may qualify for an EntrePass; family members may hold a Dependant Pass or Long-Term Visit Pass. Permanent residence is a separate ICA decision. These guides explain each route for companies and founders.
